The design and development of AD Audit 2 is well underway. This major release features a redesigned user interface with themes and a new document manager that allows you to run multiple reports in a tabbed interface and organize them horizontal or vertical tab groups. In addition to the filterable reports you are already familiar with, the new version introduces some innovative functionality such as History, Object Audits with Inline Editing, Object Recovery, and Global Search. Inline Editing allows you to edit object attributes “inline” much like a spreadsheet (without having to export and re-import formatted attribute data).
The development of the new Themes, Document Manager, History, Global Search, Object Recovery (restore deleted Computer, User, Group, and Bitlocker objects) are complete. Currently working on the code for the various Object Audits with Inline Editing. The goal is to release the new version at the end of the summer.
